How DBS Should End

The finale of Dragon Ball Super, written in three acts — the war on two fronts, the sacrifice and the Beast, and the Final Valley.

Act I

The War on Two Fronts

The finale of Dragon Ball Super explodes across two completely different battlefields, pushing the universe to its absolute limits.

Act I · Beat 1

The Battle in Space

MUI Goku, UE Vegeta, and a fully controlled Legendary Super Saiyan Broly take the fight directly to Black Frieza in the vacuum of space. However, Frieza isn't alone. He unveils his secret weapon: a hidden Saiyan apprentice he discovered on an isolated planet. Frieza trained this apprentice inside the same Room of Spirit and Time where he achieved his own Black form, creating a deadly duo to counter Earth's strongest Saiyans.

Act I · Beat 2

The Invasion of Earth

Simultaneously, Golden Cooler launches a massive invasion of Earth with his armored army. Earth's primary defenders — Goten, Trunks, Gohan, and Piccolo — are left to hold the line.

Act II

The Sacrifice and The Beast

A massive crisis unfolds on Earth while Goku and Vegeta are preoccupied in space. Gohan is stranded on Whis's planet, and even at maximum speed, it will take him 30 minutes to return.

Act II · Beat 1

Piccolo's Stand

As Golden Cooler's forces overwhelm the remaining heroes, Orange Piccolo makes the ultimate sacrifice. He throws himself in front of a lethal blast to protect Goten and Trunks, directly mirroring his iconic sacrifice against Nappa years ago.

Act II · Beat 2

The Failed Fusion

Devastated and enraged, Goten and Trunks fuse into Gotenks to avenge their mentor. They push their limits to defeat Golden Cooler but ultimately fail, leaving a stunned Gotenks completely helpless and staring down his own demise.

Act II · Beat 3

The Tactical Arrival

Just seconds before the final blow lands, Gohan arrives from Whis's planet. He lands in his Ultimate Form, displaying total composure as he intercepts Cooler and pulls the stunned Gotenks safely out of harm's way.

Act II · Beat 4

The Breaking Point

Ultimate Gohan fights intelligently, matching Golden Cooler's brutal tactics with martial arts precision. However, as Cooler pushes him to the edge and taunts him over Piccolo's fallen body, Gohan reaches his breaking point. The rage takes over, and he transforms into Beast Gohan mid-fight, turning the tide of the entire battle.

Act III

The Final Valley

With the Frieza and Cooler invasion finally resolved, Goku and Vegeta return to Earth to settle their eternal rivalry one last time with no distractions.

Act III · Beat 1

The Escalation

They agree to start at the absolute beginning, fighting in their base forms and steadily working their way up through every single transformation in their history.

Act III · Beat 2

The Exhaustion

After a grueling battle at the highest tier, Goku's MUI form suddenly wears out. Vegeta attempts to capitalize on the opening to secure the win, but his UE form completely gives out at the exact same moment, stopping his victory short.

Act III · Beat 3

The Raw Fistfight

Stripped of their god ki and reverted to base forms, both Saiyans can barely stand. They exchange slow, weak, agonizing punches, refusing to back down.

Act III · Beat 4

The Ultimate Clash

Goku manages to knock Vegeta back into a nearby asteroid. Battered but defiant, Vegeta roars, "I won't let you beat me! NOT AGAIN, KAKAROT!" He flies into the air, pouring the absolute last drop of his energy into an epic Galick Gun. Goku responds by unleashing everything he has left into an ultimate Kamehameha.

Act III · Beat 5

The Tie

Mid-clash, their sheer will forces a split-second flicker of their Ultra forms to maximize the beam power. The massive explosion ends in a complete tie. As both Saiyans lie completely paralyzed and exhausted on the ground, Vegeta smiles and finally admits that Kakarot is truly number one — bringing a peaceful, legendary closure to his arc, reminiscent of Naruto and Sasuke in the Final Valley.
