Two different games sharing one story page, set five years after the events of Pokemon X and Y.
Story
Pokemon XZ continues the Pokemon Y timeline, while Pokemon YZ continues the Pokemon X timeline. Calem and Serena return as the ally and rival of the new protagonist. If the player chooses a male protagonist, Serena becomes his ally and is recognized as the hero of the first game. If the player chooses a female protagonist, Calem becomes her ally and is recognized as the hero of the first game — along with introducing a Mega Zygarde X & a Mega Zygarde Y.
